The holidays are here!
One of my favorite excuses during this season is getting to squeeze in a bit of personal work – in this case, gift tags. I always, always love to make my gifts unique and a cut from all the typical holiday wrappers and tags you can find at malls and bookstores, which is why I came up with a new set this year.
And as a thank you to you guys (and an advanced present as well), I’ll be making these Christmas gift tags available FREE for download so you guys can use them too! :)
Download these tags HERE.
They are all in separate pdf files enclosed in a zip file.
Note: For printing, I recommend using Elit Specialty Board and your regular house printer will do just fine.
I’m all for being thrifty, and I believe gift wrapping shouldn’t be something expensive. Just go to a nearby bookstore and get an assortment of Manila paper, crepe paper (preferably in Christmas colors!) or Japanese paper and you’re good to go.
I use a huge roll of twine I got from Daiso in Japan – but I believe if you sift through the crazy Divisoria streets, you can find similar pieces. If not, Hey Kessy or Sunday Paper carry these things as well. I always use washi tape (favorite brand is of course, Hey Kessy) to seal my gifts – adds more *craftiness* to your gift wrapping (is there such word, I have no idea, lol).
In case you’re wondering where I got these lovely postcard prints and wrappers, they’re from Paper Street, a new kid on the block – selling a variety of beautifully designed paper products (notebooks, wrappers, cards, etc). You can check out more of their stuff here.
Have a lovely holiday this Christmas and happy DIY gift wrapping!
