Hello!

Just making this short and sweet. :) Yesterday was the Color Pop Fair 2.0 organized by National Book Store, and I got to share some tips on lettering and choosing colors with Faber-Castell Pitt Pens.

My two babies were also available during the event: The ABCs of Hand Lettering (book) and Letters from ABC (postcards). #proudmom <3

So overwhelmed with the people I got to see during the event (missed you, guys!). Thanks to all my readers who had their books signed, and to everyone who participated in my demo! :) During downtime, I helped out at The Googly Gooeys‘ live art area and launch because ~intern duties~ (lol, just kidding). Congratulations also to fellow Summit babies June (A Year of Positivity) and Asa (Hue Can Do It Manila) on their new books! :)

I made a special coloring sheet for my demo – it’s from Coldplay’s Fix You. Anyway, I whipped it up just a few days ago and it’s free for download for all you coloring people out there. :)

I know you’re all wondering what material/s to use for coloring – well, I suggest trying out Faber-Castell Pitt Pens for this. I swear by it and I use it for both lettering and travel illustration – and now, coloring. The ink is pretty lightfast and versatile – they have transparent & opaque variants, which are great for shadows and vibrant hues.

You can check out all the color swatches here on their website.

I’ll share more tips on choosing colors on my future posts.

Anyway, I’ll leave it at that. Enjoy coloring, and let me know what you think! :)

Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens are available at selected National Bookstore branches, Scribe, and Craft Carrot.

Letters from ABC Postcards are available at major bookstores and newsstands nationwide for P350.

Hi Abbey! I wanted to download the coloring sheet bc it’s my favorite song for life, but the link seems to be broken huhu. We were there also when you had your demo, but my sister wasnt able to bring your book that time so we didn’t got the chance to have you sign it. :(
